I just have to share these wonderful photos I took over the past few days. I had almost forgotten how beautiful the mid west could be in the fall of the year. With my daughter as the driver and me as the picture taker we went off on the most beautiful drive. We saw old barns.... I just love them. I am afraid that one day they will all be gone and future generations will never get to see them. We drove to Black Hawk State Park.... the we walked around and that is where we found the path. Oh my .... your imagination can just wonder there.
We found ourselves along the south bluff of the Rock River and found some Canadian Geese forging there, and of course another barn.
The day was picture perfect with the temp in the mid 70's and the sun was so bright...... as we shuffled through the leaves the awesome smell of the leaves just filled our heads. What a great day!!!!
