Let me introduce myself. My name is Mary but most of my family call me Maggie. I'm a Mary Margaret!!! I was born in the mid-west and grew up in a little town in Illinois then I married my high school sweetheart Michael. With him being in the Navy we headed out on the biggest adventure of our lives. Well 33 years later and one beautiful child, Tammy, I find myself spilling my story on the internet.

I know that many people say this is a life long dream for them and I am no different. I have been crafting for so many years, I think it stems from not having things when we were childern... we had to make our own fun and most of the time that ment being creative and playing pretend. I guess thats why I like the old stuff so much it reminds me of stick for horses, and sheets for tents. You get the picture!!! I was a Dog Groomer for over 30 years, and between moving from coast to coast I always had time to be a bit creative with some type of craft.

Now I am retired and we live in beautiful New Mexico (yes it is a state). We live in the mountains just outside of Albuquerque. Michael still works but I get to play pretend any day I want....... Live is good!! We enjoy golfing and we have two dogs Millie and Bert, and a cat named Tess.

I have the most understanding husband, he too like so many crafters hubbys has eaten dinner on a counter filled with glue guns, fabric, paints and all the things it takes to make our treasures, and he has honestly NEVER complained. So I thank him for being him, and I have to thank my daughter who always says you can do it mom, and my family who are some of my best customers........ I love you all!!!!!

So now I must get on with my new adventure and get back to the studio ( the spare bedroom )"LOL" and see what project needs my attention.
